    Inno3D is a trademark of InnoVision Limited, a Hong Kong manufacturer of graphics adapters. Today we'll take a closer look at a pair of its middle-range GeForce 6xx solutions.

    Inno3D GeForce GTX 660 Ti copies the reference design, which is similar to that of GTX 670: a small PCB and 8 memory chip seats on the front side. However, there are only 4 memory seats on the back, not 8, like in GTX 670. The reason is that memory bus has been cut down to 192-bit from 256-bit. InnoVision could have filled all the dozen slots with different chips, but preferred placing the identical 8 x 2 GB chips instead to save money.

    The design of Inno3D GeForce GTX 670 iChill is based on that of the company's GeForce GTX 680 reference board, because the massive iChill cooling system is just too big for the PCB of GTX 670. That's why we compare Inno3D GeForce GTX 670 iChill with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680, not GTX 670. The only noticeable difference is the number of phases in the GPU VRM—5 instead of 4.

    Inno3D GeForce GTX 660 Ti has a pair of 6-pin supplementary power connectors. The set of outputs in both cards is standard: DVI-I, DVI-D, Display Port, and HDMI (with sound transmission enabled).

    Maximum resolutions and frequencies:

    • 240 Hz maximum refresh rate
    • 2048 x 1536 @ 85 Hz max. analog (VGA) resolution
    • 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz max. digital (DVI) resolution (for Dual Link DVI-D)
